Buying and selling, by the jeweller's rules
- Price strip
- For a back-dated transaction, that day's price is suggested; the price is fixed on the first line.
- Labour
- VAT included or excluded? You are asked as you enter it.
- Payment
- Card receipt and card invoice are kept apart; receipt and cash limits are applied automatically.
- Date
- Up to 7 days back; no future dates. A closed period stays untouched.
An individual purchase does not enter stock until the expense voucher is printed; the books and the till never drift apart.

14 karat scrap
- 8, 9, 10, 14, 18, 21, 22 and 24 karat jewellery and scrap; fine gold; gram gold
- Cumhuriyet, Ata and Reşat coins; from quarter (çeyrek) to five-fold (beşli)
- Weighted average cost, recalculated with every purchase
- Stock count (reconciliation): grams in the system next to grams on the scale
- Transfers between branches with delivery notes
